(Polish 3D)

Interactive
3D.

3D systems that run directly in the browser, with no app to download.

Built with Three.js and WebGL; desktop, mobile, and AR / VR share one codebase.

(Capabilities)

Problems, in 3D.

Six 3D applications, each starting from an operational problem.

Folding bikes

Option combinations beyond the catalog: product configurator

Part-by-part swaps, one-click folding, dimension callouts, and riding-fit analysis. A finished configuration produces a configuration card, a QR code, and a spec PDF.

Higher education

Vast amounts of information: 3D map expo

National Taiwan University Overseas Education Expo, with 289 exchange schools combined on a 3D world map. In one edition, 2,000 students logged in within 7 days of opening, and views passed the previous full-year total in 10 days.

Signage and advertising

Finished signs cannot be confirmed in advance: sign showcase and photo simulation

Upload a logo and a storefront photo, then switch between five sign styles in real time. Photos are processed only in the browser, never uploaded to a server.

(Industries)

Where it fits.

Industries and use cases where 3D applies.

Shared traits: physical items are hard to transport, combinations are too numerous, or the space cannot be visited in advance.

  1. Architecture and real estateHousing developments, model units, and the surrounding area: browse by building, floor, and unit, and confirm the space online before a visit. In production
  2. Bicycles and light vehiclesOption combinations beyond a catalog: part-by-part swaps, folding motion, and dimension annotations, supporting analysis of riding fit.In production
  3. Cars and motorcyclesCombinations of body color, wheels, and aftermarket parts: appearance options previewed in real time, with the configuration taken back to the shop for discussion.
  4. Furniture and homeSize and placement are hard to imagine: material, dimensions, and space layout are confirmed before purchase.
  5. Energy and industrial equipmentThe physical equipment cannot be brought to the site: equipment structure, site, and service scope can be explained online, item by item.In production
  6. Education and exposAn exhibition with a huge volume of information: the map, booths, and each organization's information are combined in one scene, browsed item by item after login. In production
  7. Signage and retailThe finished result cannot be confirmed in advance: sign styles and storefront previews on a real photo, with the screen ready to bring to a proposal meeting. In production
  8. Catering and eventsTable types, tableware, and venue layout: the full table setup is confirmed before ordering, and the chosen options are saved back to the order. In production
  9. Culture and exhibitionsScenes and exhibits cannot be preserved long term: a physical venue becomes an online space that stays open to visits. In production

(Performance)

Built to run.

Performance figures and optimization methods on phones.

Every model starts with measurement, and features are layered on only after smooth performance is confirmed.

Texture memory
From about 681 MB to about 30 MB. Textures reduced from 4K to 2K, then compressed with KTX2.Before and after optimizationIn production
First-screen model files
From 26.32 MB to 21.18 MB. Data is slimmed down before compression, and memory use did not increase. Before and after optimizationIn production
Fallback when it cannot run
When the browser cannot run 3D, a static cover and the main links are shown automatically.Performance engineering
Readable by search engines
Text is written into the HTML before loading, and 3D loads only after the first screen is painted.Search and AI crawler readability for 3D websites

(Performance notes)

Each performance-handling method is written up as an article.

(Fit)

Fit and
limits.

Where this works, and where it does not

Good fit

  • Industrial equipment and vehicles with complex structures that need repeated explanation
  • Product lines with more option combinations than a catalog can list
  • Exhibitions and remote channel showcases where physical units cannot be shipped
  • Online spatial experiences for real estate developments, venues, and exhibitions

Not recommended

  • Websites where 3D is only a visual bonus. 3D costs the most, and flat design is the better investment.
  • Expecting 3D alone to close sales. 3D explains the product, while sales teams and stores still close the deal.
  • Simple products that a single photo can explain.

Start a project.

Three steps to a clear direction and budget range.

  1. 01Book the first meeting: choose a time. A full specification is not required.
  2. 02A 15 to 30 minute online consultation: direction, budget range, and draft timeline.
  3. 03After materials are reviewed, a quote and delivery specification follows in about 3 to 5 working days.
